I have been posting angry comments for three years that this administration should be held accountable for their illegal actions... I just thought that when they were finally brought to justice it would be over one of their bigger abuses of power. Outing a CIA agent, Lying to congress, sanctioning torture, illegal wire taps, no-bid contracts to companies that move to Dubia to avoid taxes.
Turns out that it is Speedy Gonzales is the likely hero in this cartoon: ..."Testimony should be on the record, and under oath. That's the formula for true accountability," said Leahy, a Vermont Democrat. "I hope the president will agree to be forthcoming. The straighter the path to the truth, the sooner we will finally know the facts." ...

Ah, but that's what Bush and Co. are afraid of.
Under the Republican Congress, "oversight" meant "to overlook." Under the Democrats, it means "to oversee." The administration is melting down.
Gonzales is only one loose thread. The whole Bush-Cheney Administration is unraveling.
I just want it to happen quicker. We owe a huge appology to the Iranians for the blunder Bush has made in their country.
